What’s the difference between romantic and Sex? Really, I think women know the answer to this question. But as my husband and I prepare for his next visit, I said, “Let’s be romantic.” He responded, “I’ll get some whipped cream.” Not that I have anything against whipped cream, mind you. But what I had in mind was champagne on the deck, looking at the stars. A little kissing, well, you get the idea.
So, does your significant other know the difference?
This is an excerpt of Lady Caro’s Rendezvous.
Early the next morning, Worthington left his home and crossed the square to Stanwood House. As he opened the door to Grace’s study, she was bent over her desk giving him an excellent view of her enticing derrière. “Good morning.”
She turned her head and glanced over her shoulder. “Good morning to you. Come look at this.”
Grace adjusted her position to make room for him, but her bottom was so tempting. “These are the plans…”
Imagining her skirts up and her bottom bare to him, he smiled. “I’d rather look at something else.”
