I received wonderful news this morning, The Secret Life of Miss Anna Marsh received a 5 star review from Liza O’Connor. Please stop by her blog and read it.
In case you didn’t hear, Anna Marsh also received a 4.5 star review from Carol Cook at Rakes and Scoundrels.
Between the blog tour and preparing for Nationals, I’ve been living life in the fast lane, so I’m taking a few days off. I’ll see you on Sunday for Sunday News!!
The 4th of July has special meaning to me. Not only did my husband and I serve in the military, but my ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War and almost every war since then.
Have a wonderful 4th and while your celebrating remember those men and women who risked their lives and livelihood for our freedom. Not only those who fought, but also the statesmen and diplomats whose efforts were just as important.
Ella
Happy 4th of July to you! Hope you have a fun, relaxing day.

Happy 4th of July Ella!
Please thank your husband for his service to our country, My husband served in the Navy during Vietnam and then joined the Navy Reserves after he got out as a “week-end warrior” until he retired. Service to our country goes back through the ages and I’m related to Ethan Allen who fought in the Revolutionary War as your ancestors did. I also had Uncles and Great Uncles who served in World War I and World War II and in fact one of my Uncles was a PT boat Captain who served with our President John Kennedy,
To celebrate the 4th of July I send wishes for “Fair winds and following seas” to all the members of the different branches in the military they today and send wishes that they stay safe on this day that we celebrate our country. Mmy thanks also to all the members of their families for their sacrifices while they are at home manning the home front!.
Thank your husband as well, Jeanne!! We had Brodheads, Carpenters, and Ostranders in the Revolutionary war. We added the Brennans to that mix starting in WWI.
Have a great 4th!!!
