Happy Sunday!!
We have winners and a title for the Christmas novella!! Yey!!
Congratulations to Jenn Bray Webber who won Liza’s book, and to Liza O’Connor who won Collette’s book!
Liza also won the title contest for entering Madeleine’s Christmas Wish!
The final blog tour for Desiring Lady Caro is posted on my website. There will be a book giveaway at every site that allows it. The blog tour begins on April 1st at Heroes and Heartbreakers!
I’ll be posting excerpts on my Facebook page this week.
As an aside, there have been some really great reviews of Caro!
Please help spread the news!
In non-author news, here is what’s been happening this week.
The Iguanas are back out. This old guy has been hanging around a tree near my deck. We had one a year or so ago, which Hubby and I named Igor, then he, to my ire, decided to call him Eye-gore. So I’ve named this one Faulk.
Apparently we’ve had lots of celebrities on island. Last week Paul McCartney was here and on Magens, but not when I was. This week it’s Oprah. She and Gail were on this ship that was anchored in the bay.
I went to the Orchid Society’s flower show on Friday. The theme was Love. How could I resist.
The weather is getting warmer so I’ve been walking earlier. This is what it’s been like at the beach this week.
The Rolex International Regatta begins on Friday, and I’ll be on the signal boat all weekend. I’m excited to see old friends, and meet new ones. I’ll post pictures.
What have you been doing this week?
Ella
Love the title! Last week was spent catching up from a Spring Break trip to Disney World with the kids. Can’t wait to read Lady Caro’s book!
I think he picked a good one! I’ll bet your exhausted!
Congratulations to the winners!
Love the name of the new book. It’s perfect!
Beautiful pictures! I can’t wait until it’s warmer here. We just had two more days where it didn’t get above 30 degrees. *whimper* We’re hoping for 40s this week if we’re lucky. lol
Once I saw that and another one I knew it would be between the two. You all have really had a hard winter!
The” non-writer” pictures are beautiful. They offer me a vicarious respite from our dry West Texas. HAPPY WRITING!
Thank you so much, Joneva! I’m glad you like the pictures!
I’m really cold right now, so if I show up on your doorstep, it’s your own fault for taunting me with beach photos. Jess says she has to come to. She’s not staying in a kennel or a basement ever again. Which means I can’t actually show up on your doorstep, so no need to worry.
You mean your sister won’t take care of Jess for a while, Liza?
Loving the books! Your non-writer news is much more exciting than waiting for the next cold snap or visit from a very menopausal, manic depressive mother nature! The 50’s one day and snow and teen’s the next! Will enjoy your photos even more!
LOL, Lisa!! That’s the best description of the weather you all are having this year that I’ve heard yet!
Thank you so much for loving the book! That makes my day!
Great title choice ! And I love the photos. The flower show must have been heavenly !
Thank you, Louisa! it was small, but very nice. I like the title choice as well.
That’s a great title for your book and love the photos as always, Ella.
I caught up with quite a bit of reading last week as the weather here has been pretty miserable…overcast and chilly.
Great pics, as usual, Ella. Weather has been good here in SC, so I’ve been building garden beds. Ouch, splinters!
Thank you, Carole! I’m glad you can get back in your garden, but splinters aren’t good!
