Happy Sunday! What a week this has been!
Let’s begin with winners! Congratulations to Melissa Terry and Joanna Mortes for winning Desiring Lady Caro!!
I missed last Sunday because I was involved in the St. Thomas International Sailing Regatta, formerly the Rolex Regatta. That involved getting up early and arriving at the yacht club by 7 AM each morning. We didn’t get off the boat until around 5:30. Suffice it to say, that by the time I got home, all I wanted to do was go to bed.
here are some pictures.
Breakfast was available for all racers and volunteers.
This was day one on the committee boat. It was a 57 foot power catamaran, and a few of us still had to take seasickness medicine. The seas were 6-8 feet. But the wind was great all weekend.
These are pictures of some of the boats finishing a race.
IC 24’s are all the same type of boat, so the race really depends on the skill of the sailors. Look at them all lined up.
After the races were completed, I saw this New Zeeland sailor. I loved his eyes, so I introduced myself as a romance writer and asked if I could take his pictures. Obviously he said yes.
Please check in with me on Facebook for any more blog tour stops.
Have a great week!!

LOL, Carole. I know. He was a little shocked at first, but went along with it.
The first day was challenging. Thank God, someone had meds.
