Happy Sunday!
Let’s start with the winner of Grace Burrowes’s book!! Congratulations to Sherry Teed!
I had a print copy of The Seduction of Lady Phoebe show up in my mail this week. The only thing to do is sign it and send it to one of you. Tell me you’d like the book and you’ll be entered in the drawing.
My week has been taken up with editing, packing, and being rejected for the boat we wanted. We have our eyes on a couple of others.
My editor emailed me the blurb for A Kiss for Lady Mary which will release in May 2015!
Ella Quinn’s bachelors do as they like and take what they want. But when the objects of their desire are bold, beautiful women, the rules of the game always seem to change…
Handsome, charming, and heir to a powerful Viscount, Christopher “Kit” Featherton is everything a woman could want—except interested in marriage. So when he hears that someone on his estate near the Scottish border is claiming to be his wife, Kit sets off to investigate.
Since her parents’ death, Lady Mary Tolliver has been hounded by her cousin, a fortune-hunting fool after her inheritance. Refusing to settle for anything less than love, Mary escapes to the isolated estate of rakish bachelor, Kit Featherton. Knowing he prefers Court to the country, she believes she will be safe. But when Kit unexpectedly returns, her pretend marriage begins to feel seductively real…
For fun, we’ve been watching the kitten.
She discovered the washing machine.
Raphaella decided to go for a stroll and was taken in by a nice woman who thought she was lost, put her on the balcony, and left for a couple of hours. Raphaella was not happy when I called her and she couldn’t get to me. She also completely disagreed with the woman’s version of events. Her story was that she’d lain down for a short rest and was catnapped. She wanted to know why it took me so long to pay the ransom.
What have you been doing this week?
Ella
So sorry to hear about your boat! My fingers are crossed that there is a better one out there for you! “A Kiss for Lady Mary” sounds wonderful, waiting….well you are helping me practice patience…lol 🙂 Good luck with the boat.
Thank you, Lisa. We need all the prayers and crossed fingers we can get. I had fun with A Kiss for Lady Mary. I’m also surprised it won’t release until May.
Good luck with the new boat search. You’ll get one! Maddie is adorable!
We will, Jenna. I just want to search to be over. Maddie is funny.
Ella, I would love a copy of your Seduction of Lady Phoebe!! Like the cover!!!
Thank you, Sheila! You’re in the drawing.
Catnapped, oh my! Glad you got her back. I, too, would love to win an autographed copy of Lady Phoebe. Fingers crossed!
Well, that was her story, in Germany my neighbors would just let her in and out the main door. She is such a good cat that no one worried about her.
First, sorry to hear about your boat. I’m sure an even better boat will come your way. God works in mysterious ways. Second, your cat is too funny. He was probably was catnapped and since you didn’t pay the ransom right away, he will probably ignore you for a couple of days until until he feels you are a worthy human again. You might have to take my to a cat therapist so he can get over his abandonment issues. And that will set you back a couple of clams. LOL. Third, if your cat decides to go for a ride in the dryer, make sure the setting is on fluff dry, otherwise his fur will be unmanagable. Fourth, I would love to win a copy of your book. Thank you!!
So funny, Christina. I’m fortunate that Raphaella has never seen the point in ignoring me, my husband’s old cat on the other hand was great at that.
Sorry I made two typos in my comment. 2 untils and instead of him I wrote my. This wouldn’t of happened if I had an editor… LOL.
LOL, Christina! You should see my typos. They crack my critique partners up.
Omg! Will any of your books be in print then? I hope so~ would so love them to be apart of the shelf! 🙂
You can get them in print now on Amazon and B&N, but they will be in brick and mortar stores starting with the next series.
You sound so calm about the catnapping. One winter I took in a cat screaming– it was -18 outside, so I let him in and he stayed with me all winter. Then in the spring he evidently returned to his family. I really missed him.
I wasn’t that calm when it happened, Liza. I’m sorry your cat left.
Sorry about the boat. I’m sure something better is coming your way =D
I hope so, Joanna. Thank you.
Sorry about not getting the boat you guys wanted. At least there are others you are interested in. Good luck with them. Super cute pictures of your kitten! And wow! I can hardly wait for A Kiss For Lady Mary!!
I’d love to win the copy of Lady Phoebe’s book more reading material to distract me from stressful weeks at work. 🙂
Thanks, Glenda!
Cats/kittens are so entertaining 🙂
We have a stray mama cat that had 5 kittens a few months ago and they are ready for a home. Does your kitty need a friend?
Would love to have an autographed book 🙂
Ella, this except sounds great. May is such a long ways away. It is great you have a copy of The Seduction of Lady Phoebe to giveaway. Like I’ve wrote before, there will be a boat for you out there. You want the right one. The cat pictures are cute.
I feel the same way. On the other hand, I may need the time. We’re on the track of another boat. Fingers crossed.
Reblogged this on Realm of Romantic Mystical Manuscripts and commented:
Congratulations Sherry Teed…
