For many years we lived overseas and gathered people around us who were also far away from their families. This year we are the guests.

One of the things we used to do is have everyone say what we were thankful for. I’m thankful that my husband and I have finally realized a 30 + year old dream, and that I have a very understanding editor. Now it’s your turn.

I am thankful that my family is together and we are at a time in our lives where we can enjoy just being you know. We don’t have any troubles or worries pressing on our minds and I know that is rare in times like today. But that’s what I’m thankful for .

I’m thankful that now retired, I can appreciate just living, smelling the flowers, and do what pleases me. The best thing is not being pushed out of bed with an alarm! I hope you don’t have to partake of Black Friday, unless you love it of course.
Hi Eileen, no Black Friday for me. We did have to get a ride to Lowes and the grocery store, but mostly we visited with friends.
