Here is what the beach looked like this morning. Notice all the larger boats are gone for the season. 
I do miss them.
I saw a bird I’ve never seen before. It looks like a type of egret, maybe a young one. Anyway, he was perfectly happy for me to walk by, but when I took out my phone for a picture, he left. I’d be grateful if anyone an identify him.
